Many of you may have questions and/or concerns regarding the COBRA regulations. We have consulted with some of the COBRA administrators that we deal with and have some insight for you. COBRA laws typically apply to groups with 20 or more employees, so these new regulations will not apply to all employers, only those who are required by Federal Law to comply with COBRA laws. We encourage you to contact your company's legal counsel or COBRA administrator with any questions regarding this federal employment law and how it pertains to your particular situation. Please bear in mind that Total Benefit Systems, Inc. is not an expert of the COBRA Laws and relying solely upon one information source may not satisfy the COBRA compliance standards.
